International Dance Theatre of the Netherlands — (ID) is one of the Netherlands’ oldest dance companies. Building on its rich history, ID has recently made a transition to a new repertoire, with the related focus of using elements from cultures around the world as the basis for contemporary dance productions. Choreographers are given the opportunity at ID to explore their artistic and creative perspective on traditions, on ritual and diversity, and give shape to this in a production.
